Key for 1997 Defender tdi300

Lost the keys to my defender. Got codes from Landrover UK but Aussie locksmiths have been struggling to find the right key. Anyone have a 1997 TDI & could tell be the key type. No button just a flat long key

Maybe go to a Land Rover dealership and have them provide and code a key?

Can you just replace the ignition barrel ?

Got the code but not the key "type"
Found an owner of a 1994 model & a lock smith in Brisbane managed to cut one that worked!

We could but were trying to find the key before going to that option. Lucky we found a lock smith that cut from the combination of the code we got from the UK & a photo of a key from a 1994 Defender owner.
