Hi and good morning.

I'm Steve from just outside buxton, where the expensive water comes from. I'm 35 with a 2 year old boy too keep me company and I wife that hates land rovers.

Well I have not got a land Rover yet just looking to find the right 1. My dad had a series 3 about 15 years ago built on a galv chassis and he put a Perkin under the bonnet. We had many weekend changing heads and fuel pumps. So after about 10 years of owning it he sold it and now I'm kicking myself for not buying it.

So I started to build a kit car and finished that last year and only did about 100 miles due to bad weather. So this year whilst the weather was good it had to go so I have some spare cash for a project and having a 2 year old need more than 2 seats. So land Rover seemed a good idea I'm looking for a running project really so the other half can use the car.

I work in a quarry as a plant fitter so I can burn and weld which should come in handy if I get a rover. I have posted a question asking for some advice about a few things.
Well that's me

Hi Whitstella,

Welcome to the asylum! :welcome2:

Sorry about the abrupt response earlier, but some get a bit on the touchy side about no introduction and then asking for all sorts of advice which, once given, we never hear from them again!

Dip your feet and join in. You will find that by and large we are quite a friendly bunch. ;) ;)

Have fun! :D
