Thought i'd introduce myself as i'm new to the site. After wanting a Land Rover for years I bought my first one last Spring, a Discovery 2.... Long-story-short it turned out to be a very poor buy and the quote for the first mechanics bill was £200 more than what I paid for the vehicle! So lesson learnt the hard way I swiftly got rid of the Disco and bought myself a 17 year old Defender 90 County. It's a brilliant vehicle, I've always admired them since I was a kid. Many of the old posts on this site have been very helpful in helping me diagnose and repair some of the issues I've encountered on the Defender so I thought i'd join the forum and contribute if I can.
