just a thought

there are loads of opinions on what is the best 4x4, Landy v Jap stuff etc,
and some even suggest pinzs and unimogs, and Huw: a JCB fastrac. now i have
seen one these i know what your on about but there is a little question.
Fun versus work, as many of you go off-roading as a leisure pursuit does it
really matter how big it is :0).. its just that if you have fun thats cool,
but if its a competition on whos got the biggest, which goes over the
biggest hill the easiest etc why dont we all get aeroplanes and cut out the
bumps. i think the best vehicle for really hilly terrain, and the most fun,
is in fact a helicopter. have FUN. )

There's no such thing as the 'Best' 4x4, we were trying to think one
up that matched a rather vague spec, there's no 4x4 out there that is
the best in every situation. The Fastrac can get through just about
anything but will wreck anything it drives over and won't fit down
overgrown lanes, the pinz will get bogged down where the Fastrac won't
but is small enough to cause little damage and to fit down lanes etc etc.

So don't fret, we're not all wrapped up in trying to beat each other
and missing out on life as a result.
