not a bad idea stu. the hampshire/bsingstoke lot have theirs set up allready. maybe we could set up a north somerset/bristol/avon trip?

LOT indeed - I will have yu know we aint proud - we allow peeps from Kent and Berkshire and Buckinghamshire to attend our sorties. Occasionally those from as far away as Yarkshire!
So, I spose, Griffy, we could even put up with you on occasions

another fine way to ruin a open forum, start introducing sections that discriminate geographically... and before some fool starts on about discrimation because of the different sections , they are divided to help folks find what they want to find whether it be gaylanders,RR's or series its there for all to see. you start dividing into geographical groups and you lose the wholeness of the thing.
as it is just now folks have there outing and all are welcome no overseers or rules. also as is there is the landy courier service which i fear will fall into the great abyss if you had regional groups " ew!! we're not helping that northern group out ffs"
this is just another silly idea thrown in by a **** that doesn't even like the attitude of most regulars.

not for general bollox that gets talked about on here, i just mean laning. i do mean to join the TOSSERS, maybe later in the year, but it would be nice for a few of the bristol/SW people to have a laning day... thats all i meant. maybe i will start a tread in the greenlane section later this year. i did try before (when i started on LZ) and didnt get much response.

MHM, i know you dont discriminate. it would just be nice not to have to travel so far when we got plenty of good lanes here... maybe you could have a foreign jaunt and heed to wales i could plan a route for us all.

good idea Griffy - if iI start orf in the Dibnah mid January - I mite get there in July !
I think the easiest way (and one I think the Tossers are, sort of, going for) is just to get a couple of mates and say "we are gonna be at "X" at 10.30 on "Y" date - come along if yu fancy joining us.
Everytime someone tries to organise summat (French trip!!!!) it gets bogged down in irrelevances and loads of peeps all say "yeah we will come" and then never bother. Start off with 2 or pref 3 of you and just let peeps know when its happening.

Yeah, deff' seems to be the way that works. We can be pretty sure that fer a TOSSERs meet there'd be at least three vehicles there, anyone else turns up it's a bonus.

haha. yer, you guys got it better there cos MHM and marcus are long term members so you know that if you say meet up, you will. atleast there is always 2 of yer... who av i got in Bristol? paul? stu-i dont have a 90 yet? fishface has given up on landys. so organising things here is a lil harder. i reckon a weekend in south wales should be on the cards G

You cun always rely on HB mind, mention laning & she's on yer doorstep in less time than it takes to drive the distance............Adz always manages to git a day pass too & comes all the way over from Kent FFS! Yeah, we have gorra good core bunch around here.

yeah ! ah remember that well.. we had organised the ferry, the camping and the 4x4 center . we then had folk saying they wanted to come but didn't want to partake in the organised ferry and they would arrange their own accomodation and they dint wanna do the off roading bit neither.. can't seem to recall eggzacklee who it wur
