Jerky tickover/very light throttle setting???

My TD4 has developed an anoying feature.. At tickover or very very light throttle settings the TD4 jerks a tad. It fine at all other throttle settings.
Any ideas please?

Thanks. I have tried that. I do know that the engine breather filter needs changing and the MAF sensor is U/S. Would this cause the misfire only on tickover?

try unpluggin maf and see

also get the filter replaced regardless, unless you like fitting turbo's !

i had this prob a few months ago ,,

with the engine running , try disconnecting each injector in turn, this will show up a bad or dirty injector , this is a quick and easy check to carry out,

the injector spray patern is critical

If the filter is removed and the housing replaced without a filter what may happen? What is the filter filtering? Thanks.......ED

i wouldnt risk running without the filter and im not opposed to taking chances and experimenting, ,
maybe try washing it with white spirits, it cant make it any worse , i have heard stories relating to oil starvation to the turbo but not sure how ?

look at those injectors, you will be supprised

its filtering oil vapours
rubber/spring / diagrapram controls crankcase pressure as i understand it , sure someone might have better understanding how it works and why you need it
