Asked on behalf of a son who has arrived home with his '97 Jeep
Cherokee. It's a 4-litre auto, and he does a lot of motorway towing.
There doesn't seem to be a Haynes manual about this year/model.

The dash has a radio with a front that refers to a CD changer, but we
can't find it or any reference in the handbook as to where it should be
located. Is this an aftermarket addition, or has the previous owner kept
it? Will there be a wiring loom already fitted to the appropriate
location, or will we have to make our own? How does the radio come out?

When towing he reports that there is a smell of hot oil. Where is the
oil cooler located on these? Is it the little radiator in front of the
main radiator, or is that something to do with the aircon?

Sorry so many questions. TIA for any help.

Bill
