italian version or bad paint job

Just picked up an p38 in germany
it's a really dark grey version with a Blue interior (bleached by the sun though)

It's original from Italy; I can tell by the Italian words @ the dash !
Does any one know about blue colored interiors or is it somebody's paint job

Is the grey ( which I really like) a original ?

I have seen one with a blue interior on flea bay. but I dont think its a common colour, I seem to remember it was one of the limited aniversary models.

its from 96; already an aniversary ?

hi , the paint job photo is rubbish all can see is a reflection of you ?????????? but small picture looks like its niagra grey " not Viagra -niagra standard dark grey color !!!!! hope this helps .

It prob does help him mozz but not as much as Viagra would

Re the paint. from the second picture it looks like along the top edge there is some UV bleaching. best case scenario this could polished out, worst case it may need a relaquer or paint depengin if the paint underneath is damaged.

Re the leather. never seen that colour before, however as it's not a UK market spec, it may be a country variation. what colour are the carpets.. if you fold the seats down and look under fixings what colour do you see. yes it can be redyed.

the strange thing is; al the leather has bleeched out; sort of vage green; with the blue on the edges (and underneath the armrest in the backseat)

A1 to that - same colour as mine.

What colour are the door liners and carpet ?

Bin the truly ghastly seats and get a decent set from a breakers to match above.
