Starter siezed so after a lot of carefull cleaning and freeing off I got it working, fitted it back on and she spun over with a new battery a good sound
so out with a plug, no spark a quick clean of the dist cap and rotor arm and points and a good spark, a bit of petrol in the carb and bugger me she fired up
so a gallon of fuel in the tank (minus the petrol that leaked through the filler hose) and a quick prime on the pump and she ran forr a few minutes, but with the fuel hose dripping I thought enough was enough, so this weekend i fitted a new hose and inline filter, primed the line, pulled the choke and with the turn of the key she jumped in to life and sounded as sweet as a nut.
tried all the electrics, and the only thing that worked was the wipers and 1 indicator.
as it was a bonnie weekend i decided it was worth taking it for a wash to clear the 10yrs of crud off it, so a good coating of TFR and an hour of jet washing she looked a lot better, but the best thing now most of the electrics work
The next plan was to get it off the trailer but no joy dipped the clutch put in reverse and nothing
next change out the fuel filler hose and the take it down the farm and give it a thrashing round the fields lol
