the compressor is running but the suspension won´t rise , and according to the rsw tool there are no faults in the system , Is it possible that I´ve done something when trying to use the rsw , that has locked the eas computer , or why the h--l is there no air going to the airbags ?????
YesterdayI tied to gett compression by having the car idling for about15 min. with one door open ,as "mr rsw" says , but with no succes.
regards HW

Thank´s I´ll try that , to be honest I´m hoping for a leak , it´s "easier" than som computer failure.,kind of....

If the compressor is working and making decent air then you must have a leak somewhere; airbags, air pipes or valve block. Soapy water time.

You are unlikely to "lock up" the EAS ECU. Do as Wammers said. The fact that you needed a new compressor suggest the old one died feeding a leak, how old are the airbags?

The may be since -98 , but even if there are small "age leaks" shouldn´t it at least go up for a while , my Dll did like that , and I´m not sure I really needed a new compressor , changed it just to be sure It´s not the source , I´ll check for pipe and air bag leaks tonight , If I don´t get any fault messages from the rsw then it should mean the electronics/computer are al right?

Probably, but you won't read any faults if there is bad comminication due to corroded connectors etc.

Thers is a connection , I can run the compressor and read hight settings via my lap top , the mystery goes on

It'll only go up if the system can hold air and if the compressor is making decent air. If you have a leak the compressor will be constantly working to feed the system. It doesn't take much to wear its cylinder/seals, even if its only a week old.

Are you listening. Have you checked for a diaphragm leak? The compressor can make as much air as it wants to but if the diaphragm is leaking it will NOT go into the tank.

Another check: I fitted a new compressor recently which stopped making air after a few days. It transpired that the grubscrew which holds the conrod on the crankshaft had vibrated loose. A drop of loctite sorted it. Maybe it's from the same batch. I was far away from the supplier otherwise it should have been returned under warranty.

110woman ,youré not english, are you????
Didn´t think you could be so funny on the other side of the north sea ;)
