Land Rover : Land Rover 110 Station Wagon 200tdi Full MOT

It has done 200,000 miles, is that a time when virtualy everything will start to disintegrate?
Is the puff of white smoke anything to worry about?

i reckon lots of landys start disintegrating the moment the leave l/r

rekon it sounds rate enuf t me,as long as the chassis n bulkhead ar sound.

why are the wheels on backwards?

so that when you get stuck its easier to reverse back out,cos you wont have got as far as you would with them the right way round.or perhaps he never spotted the little arrow to tell him which way,mind you some say they be a little bit backward in norfolk anyway

I've bought a 121k 110 v8 lpg 1990 with a mot end July next year recently for £1650, my advice is

Good poke with a screw driver in the footwells and the rear cross member around jacking points- both on mine needed some work.

Your also want to check by driving it what the gearbox is like it will either have a lt77 which are prone to 5th gear problems or lt85 santana.
if the transmission tunnel has been hacked about a bit unlikely but may have R380 box

The santana in mine needs new layshaft bearings, you can tell this as it screams as you drive it in any gear other than 4th
