Sorry the EAS cable is wired specifically for that. It doesn't use the normal OBD pins so won't do anything else. A normal ODB cable would give you access to engine readings.

If you :googleit: you'll find a variety of free ,paid , and hacked (slap on wrist)
packages, which will give you access to the engine readings with a normal OBD cable. Unfortunately to get access to anymore than this you'll need LR specific kit, Testbook, Rovercom, etc.

I am quite interested in getting the "easy OBD" software.
Anyone know what the details of the OBD cable that fits a RR P38 (X) 4.6L V8.
