First, is there a difference between Carb cleaners and Throttle Body
cleaners?

If so, are some better than others? Some of you recommended 3M Throttle
Body cleaner for cleaning my Jeep Cherokee throttle body. Is it worth it
for me to look for this when there are cheaper (and available ones) on the
shelf at Wal-Mart?

I know sometimes cheaper/noname brands are not always as good, but sometimes
they are and I don't know the difference in this case.

Thank you,

Ted

The 3M stuff is good.

Carb cleaner has chemicals in it that can harm some of the parts in a
TB, so yes you need TB cleaner.
