The rear main oil seal whilst iv still got the engine out?

Its a 200tdi out of a disco.:)

Iv heard its tricky getting the new seal to sit in place, due to some 'plastic lip' or somet???

Has anyone got a guide on how to do it please? Its proberly an easy job but iv never done one before so just wanted a bit of info before i start making a mess of it LOL.

Cheers guys :)

Yes it's worth it.
It's easy as long as you put the new seal and the plastic carrier onto the crank correctly and push the new seal over the plastic carrier onto the crank. Then it's a matter of pushing the seal into place. I used the old seal to help push the new seal in square.
To remove the old seal just hammer it out with a screwdriver.
