Irratic Idle

Since i have owned my Freelander ( 7 Months ) the Engine seems to Idle irraticaly, as soon as i turn the Engine off and start it up it's fine, then as soon as i Rev it, it starts again, then when i turn it off and start it again it's fine until i Rev it again!! Could it be something like a split pipe or something?? Cheers

My td4 has just started to have erratic tickover [pulses] when cold , only use it at weekends now,dunno if that's anything to do wiv it, just bought some Millers to put in ..then i'll take her on a few runs and thrash the fecker...kill or cure .......

Put some injector cleaner in your fuel and check your air filter isn't clogged.
When was your timing belt last changed?
