Good evening peeps.
So, my fob is now not talking to the bus at all. It was at first every now and then it would turn its cheek...
In goes the nanocombles..
Becm section.
Cleared the rf memory and....
Poof.. Invalid code received.

The immobilizer is turned off and when I turned it back on the engine was immediately disabled.. Oooer panic... Immobilizer disabled and engine started phew...

I've done the key in door handle and pressed the appropriate buttons and no avail, also the key in the ignition with any of the buttons pressed.. 0
I did this with the immobilizer on and off to no effect.
I've tried the second fob and it's batteries are good also and nothing..
So. If it's the rf receiver then how does the car receive an invalid code or is it not receiving a code and interpretating it as an "invalid code"
It's over to your thoughtso_O

To add... I can lock, unlock and super lock the doors with the nanocompington. So I know the micros witches are communicating with the David.

Well, that's interesting. Had this discussion before and I've checked myself, once my engine is immobilised and the key has lost sync, I've not been able to disable the immobiliser or turn it off until the key syncs and re-mobilises the engine

So, I've turned the immobiliser on and off and tried a few things but nothing is happening apart from
"invalid code received"... Bummer.

Simple test, from a simple person, is the red light on the fob coming on when you press the buttons? I have just seen where you are, so I won't bother with my next suggestion which is a guy who does new keys - unfortunately not the flick type - that he can make using your old key. He's just doing 2 for me as the latest P38 that I have bought had only one key and that didn't work, along with a shed load of other faults that were very well hidden, but coming to light now.
