Thanks to the archived threads here I managed - i hope - to solve a problem on my Freelander, so thought I'd say thanks and introduce myself. I'm very new to this, lack experience, but plan to take apart a freelander bit by bit, which means asking a fair few dumb questions on the forums. I've got a load already but don;t want to **** the regulars off, so will ration myself.
I know one thing - when a so called land rover specialist garage can't diagnose a fault but i can with the help of this site, it's obviously the place to get information,.

Dun't worry about asking questions. If yer got a lot then start yer own fred int Freelander section un full yer boots. We'll try ter answer them and laff anorl.

Thanks very much for the welcome. I'll do what I can to find answers before asking but it's good to know I can still ask very basic stuff (basic to you if not to me).
