introducing Lord Lucan... yes ive been here before a couple of years ago, when i owned a TD5 D2, i had tp part with it, was moving house and serious rear chassis rot, brought a sale on , i was sorry to see her go, as i had put a considerable amount of time , new parts, skinned knuckles etc into it.
however the need for a D2 never left me....those of you who get Landrover Owner mag will have seen it in a Highland Glen photo submitted by my son with his CSW. i set about getting another, when i was advised my 'old' one had been abandoned, where i had left it, the new owner had not done a thing with it.
ive now bought it back, after a considerable amount of work, but still needing lots of TLC, the three amigos will not go away, ive tried the ABS bypass.... briefly worked, still showing front left electrical failure, and i dont seem to have a 12volt supply into the pump.... no reading on the side mounted red/black cable, and horror of horrors, the SLS cable has been cut inside the pump box......... is all this related ?
