Hello all.

And Thanks.

After owning my FL for only few days it was apparent that there was a problem with the car. There was a droning sound and some vibration at@ 60mph. As you do, you go on the tinternet. lucky for me! I found this site. Thanks for all your advice as it has saved me a few bob.

ANYHEW. I dropped the prop shaft and run the car in two wheel drive mode and the noise and vibration had gone. After looking over the prop shaft it had to be the VC unit. So, with a phone call to Bell Engineering a order was placed and i drove down to pick up my re con unit. To cut a long story short Bell Engineering were a great help, with help and advice. Far better than the over the counter' ere's ya unit mate' and goodbye. I think I've got this problem hopefully solved as a quick nip down the motorway gave no problem at all.

Thanks again to you all and Bell Eng

Cheers

How easy is it to change the vcu - on ramps on the driveway?

I'm getting a rattle when on tight 45 degree turns and potentially slow uptake in 3rd and 4th gears.
