I've browsed on here for quite a while, but never get round to contributing or asking questions.
Bought myself another Landy just before Christmas, and as it appears to be pretty unmolested and original I'm trying to get some correct information on it.
It's a 1983 88" petrol Station Wagon (safari roof, all headlining and interior side panels in good condition) with only 39,000 miles (seems genuine, with m.o.t's going back to 1990 and the quietest, smoke free 2 1/4 I have ever seen).
I know that most on here will hate the disco rims that I've put on the car, but I want decent modern tyres on it, and I've now had them shot blasted and painted in limestone to suit the car.
Anyway, enough of the rambling. My main question at the moment is about colour, as the safari roof panel has been painted white and doesn't match the rest of the roof, and it will need new door tops very soon - The LaSalle door cards that I've temporarily fitted make up about half of the door top rigidity at the moment!
Would an '83 be Artic White or Ivory (or something else) and what would the paint code be?
Should the headlamp surround be silver (as they are now), or body coloured?
All of the car except for the off side wing and a door bottom seem to be original to the car with their original paint.
Should the roof match the car on a late Station Wagon?
