Ive got the 2.8 TGV in my 101 FC.
Some time back i got the injection pump front seal replaced with a viton one, and, since then, the truck has been totally lacking in power.
Id assumed it was that the timing was slightly out, but i checked it today, and its spot on.
When i had the pump re-sealed, i took another pump in at the same time, off a 300tdi.
Is it possible that the place that did them has just set them both the same, and the TGV one should be setup differently? I assume a larger cylinder would need more fuel?
I dont have a whole load of confidence, as the 300 pump that went in went in working, but, when i took it off the shelf to fit, some months later, i could get it to run - but the TGV starts on the very first revolution, just the power has gone.
Im not keen on just dialing up the fuel until im sure, so is anyone familiar with the 2.8s setup?
Thank you.
