Intermittent!

Just fitted another (second hand) wiper motor on Def 91 110 believing I would get intermittent function back. Have 2 speeds and parking, same as before!

Where is the intermittent function, could it be the stalk switch, have one of those I can try sometime, or is there a relay somewhere??

The older 90's and 110's had the flick and release type stalks. later ones have a intermittent function in the same position.

If he told us what year it was we could give a better indication of where to start looking. It could be he needs to change the park switch, it could be a td5 with an intermittent relay fitted, it could be the stalk is fooked.

and just found a relay behind the fuse box that is obviously knackered. Its a Lucas prc 6864. Googled it and it says its a Range Rover Front wiper relay. So that must be the problem
 
Glad you got it sorted...hope you didnt throw the old motor out...got an ebay account? :rolleyes: may get your money back and enough for a new relay....

oh i say..a sow just passed my window in a helicopter!
