Intermittent exhaust gas temper sensor issue

Hi all

I have LD4 (319), with an intermittent fault on the exhaust gas temperature sensor. I get code P246F-64 bank 1 sensor 4.
I’m keen to swap this out, but have no idea where bank 1 sensor 4 is located, any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hi Sierrafery, it’s a 2016, 3l diesel. Diagnostic tool is the Autel MaxiAP200, thanks

That code is about the post DPF EGT sensor(attached) and there are two cases:
1. vehicles with diesel exhaust fluid
2. ...without diesel exhaust fluid

so tell me which modell you have and i'll find you the sensor's position

OK, so with these attachments + the previous one with the code you should figure it out how to get to the suspect sensor(nr 7)...being intermittent it might be just a bad contact in the plug... good luck
