insurance help needed!! please

I have purchased a 1982 88 on the basis that Adrian Flux gave me a quote of £103 per year for insurance ( I was very honest with them during online quote ) , this will be my only vehicle as I walk to work and the children go to school five minutes away . Adrian Flux stated on website that I could save another 10% if I called them up , so I did , new figure is now £425!!! The reason they give for this is that they "assumed" that I had another car and this was just for driving about in . At no point on the internet quote did it ask if this was an additional car the nearest it came to was "do you have access to another car? " which I don't , should I just accept online quote or are there any better places to shop with

there are loads of classic car insurers out there have a ring around i use hagerty £110 a year for both my series 1 and lightweight on restricted mileage though i used to use heritage until they doubled my premium i year according to them it was an admin error but too late i was already peeved footman james is another just open a copy of lro lrm or classic landrover

I finally went with footman James for £178 .Adrian flux had another go but came back with £270 . Not too bad considering my almera tino 1.8 is £340
