Hi Guys
I'm new to the forum and just bought my first land rover, a MKI Freelander.
I'm wandering if anybody can help me with a problem I've got. I've bought a Land Rover CD Player / Visteon 6500R Radio that used to be in a defender to replace the existing cassette/radio and was recommended by Audioleads to use CP2-BM23 adapter kit to enable the steering column controls for volume and track/station selection to still work.
However on fitting the adapter the patch cable supplied ends in an 1/8" jack plug which does not fit the new unit. I contacted Audioleads technical help again and they informed that their product does not support this, even though they recommended the adapter kit in the first place.
The patch cable needs to terminate in a 10 pin male connector, so I was wondering if anybody knew which cable to which connector or is there another way to create a wiring loom for the new unit?
Thanks
Chris
