Good job. All you need now is a K40 !
looks nice had to work out what you have moved to get it in there. i take it you don't have a sunroof as no switch.

I fancy sticking a small 2m/70cm rig in my freelander but not sure what to do with switches. I don't mind losing the sunroof switch and tailgate window switch.
That still leaves me with 2 front window switches and central locking switch to fit in...
trying to think as urs is a 5 door, can the window and lock switches go into the arm rest as there four for the windows and also another sq blank which im not sure, could it be to turn the rear electric windows off ???
u should have some blanks, ie car seat heaters , cruise control,
what are all the switches u have fitted plse and how many blanks
or put a pic up and will work it out as some of the switches can be moved out of the way due to there long leads behind the dashboard and some can't
happy to help where I can
Thanks, will take some photos later. I know some people have a mount on the dash, but preferred something a bit neater.
use the longer one it will be better as cb is actually 11 mtrs and the 1500mm will suit this better.
yes it would effect the standing wave ratio unless you fixed it with a none metallic fastener well cb is 27 MHz that is 11 meters if you divide the MHz into 300 you will get the length of 11 meters ideally you should have a aerial 11 meters long but you can not put that onto your car so the bigger antenna you have got the better ,I have been into ham radio since 1967 and did dabble into CB and when it was a good year for cb that is when the solar flux was right and there was a good lift on (that's what they call them ) I worked from Staffordshire to Gozo in Malta on 4 watts now a days they use linear's(burners) but I have never found the need for them.

yes you should with no problem get a couple of mile probably further with the small one.
