inspections sockets

Hey chaps, fitting a ciagrette lighter to my s3 1984 diesel, are the inspection sockets fused? If so what size is in there ? I had a look at the circuit diagram and looks like its protected by fuse a1 and a2 (35amp) does this sound right ?
Sorry if this has been discussed before

Not fused in my s3. This seems to be correct as far as I can tell from the diagram.

Inspection socket is not fused....I used mine to run power to a couple of cigarette lighter sockets for satnav etc, but put an in-line 10A fuse in to protect them

(go careful with these when firkling around behind the dash on a S3 cos you can get a nasty jolt off of these - always disconnect battery first!!!)

The sockets are not fused but there's usually a spare fuse in the fusebox you can use for stuff like this.
