Inspection Lamps

I have just managed to get my hands on some genuine inspection lamps.. I want 2 for my series but I have some left over.

These are military issue and quite difficult to get hold of, they take indicator sidelight bulbs ... They plug into the dash of any Series with enough cord to get around/under... I have 4 to sell.

See left of speedo for the socket.

£45 each + postage and packing to forum members.

Is that a. Series dash? What's with the middle consul and panel switches below r/h side of clocks? That's some spaghetti of wiring are you doing a refurb? Would the lights not drain yet battery if used for a decent length of time or for emergency use?

Change the bulb fer an led one?

To be fair it will as standard take 4x longer to run the battery down than having the sidelights on.

There a nice piece of authentic emergency kit imo

I have one, I use it as me interior light as I don't have any other kind of interior light. I hang it from the hood stick. Works quite well.

that's a good idea, I would love to find a cheap door open timed interior light kit for those dark winter nights
