Insanely cheap quote??

Hi All

So coming up to renewal time now. Currently paying £1750 for a td4 3dr '03 plate with no mods.

Just been trying to get quotes around and just had one from Brentacre for £950 with any modifications other than total BHP covered, including laning and amber strobes. Thats a saving of £800! The closest that any of the usual suspects got was £1300. Another company called Sky got close at £1095 but dont think im going to beat £950.

Anyone know of any other small brokers like brentacre?

I'm with sky been with them for 4 years got 3 cars covered with them, pretty cheap very helpful, I tried shopping around for my disco 200tdi, everyone else £1000+, sky £476 paying monthly
 
Why did Flux quote me a silly amount then when I'm a very good risk in not a bad area??

Different quotes on different days:(
 
No idea. They did the same to me when I rang em up out of the blue. Going to see if any of the other two guys will match or beat it. Now to play the numbers game haha.

Looks like ED is on top of things send him a PM with all your details...... can not hurt could even put a smile of you face:) Could of been a under trained office person and did not know everything. Worth a try

AF insured me for about £600 (paying monthly so that includes interest) being a yooff with no NCB in Basra, it was half as much as the next best quote. It does appear some of their phone staff need educating a bit more, but get someone smart on the blower and you get quoted happy. ;D
 
Well Flux has been beaten again by Sky! Now down to £875. Thats 50% off my current premium! Brentacre also matched that price, but they dont cover as much off road stuff.

How can you say Brentacre matched the price and they don't offer the same coverage??? Really they are charging more and giving you less. Do not think you are comparing apple for apple. You are just looking at the amount you pay. Bit like saying I'm having a fish dinner at Mcy Dee or at a nice pub, they both have fish
 
it would appear AF have consistency problems, ie not all singing off same hyme sheet, tryed them last year -no good , but will try them again this year and see. its only a phone call

Contact ED then, he so far has come through with solving peoples problems.So far he is batting 100% solving problems. And peeps are smiling. They na sayers are slow going away
