Has anybody heard of the injector loom on a TD5 giving problems Ie intermittently missing at low rpm or after switching the motor off and restarting the misfire disappears. Some feedback would be appreciated

Thanks Guys
Ray

yes, oil can work its way up the loom into the contacts, this was in LRO the other month, apparently the only cure is to replace the loom though I am sure that if there is another way someone on this site will know.

its a common problem, mainly with earlier models, change the injector loom, its not expensive, if the oil has worked its way to the ecu you can clean it out with brake cleaner, it wont damage the ecu as its sealed so the oil wont get inside. also clean the plug on the engine loom to injector loom

I have changed engine looms in the past where they have been soaked in oil but now i just clean them and they seem to be fine
