Did me Timing belt the other day. My first one and no horrible noises so its all good! :)
Still cant work out why Haynes wanted me to take half the car to pieces and some places wanted me to remove drive shafts:confused:

Now is time for the fuel pump belt. Looks easy, good access so no scratched knuckles or swearing. Obviously the pump can be locked with an all fandangled land rover special tool(or a bolt with insulation tape) but do i have to lock the cam pully at all? I would assume that as long as i mark the pulleys and they dont move then its all good?

Oh and its an L series
