i noticed when i put my indicators on it was flashing fast as if the bulb had blown but it had not, but i noticed that the brake light was flashing the same as the indicators. also the left hand indicator was a lot brighter than the other one. i was told it could be a bad earth but i have not got a clue where to start looking as i don't know alot about electrics. #
so please help

if yu remember, Mondo, there was a guy on here a few days ago wot had a similar prob and discovered that the brake bulb had bin fitted upside down. It sounds like a classic earth fault tho. So - yup i did think about it, an it aint so stupid as it sounds, coz it could be earthing via the brake circuit..

It was a totally different fault MHM. The syptoms THIS guy is explaing IS a bad earth. The syptoms the other guy was describing WAS incorrect bulb fitment. This is what I told slob WOULD happen if it was bad earth.

The quickest temporary solution to THIS problem is to take the lense off either the fog light or reverse light (depending which side the fault is or if it is on both sides like mine take off both lenses). Make a small hole in the botton corner of that light CASING (THE BLACK BIT NOT THE LENS). Run a small wire from the earth on the light to a hole in the crossmember and bolt the wire to the hole using a crimp eyelet.
