Anyone had this problem before cos i am totally stressed out now and desperately need some ideas!!!
Was drivin down road, indicated right and fuse blew. Changed fuse, no indicators still. Followed wiring diagram and found hazard light switch to be faulty. However, when i pass the power from the purple wire to the green supply to flashers wire, the left works fine, but the right causes switch to get really hot! and the trailer light and the indicator lights on the dash light up but only dim.
I have looked for dodgy earths around indicators, removed bulbs in case there is a short, no difference
I have tried to isolate fault by passing power straight from purple live to right indicator wire (green white) (ie bypassing relay) and it is giving same fault:- dashboard light and getting hot and blowing fuse.
Have seen other posts similar but no-one seems to have supplied definitive answer. Help really appreciated as i am now at end of my tether:doh: Cheers
