immobiliser

hi folks on the local midlands news on the tv someone had invented a new immobiliser in that you had to wear a wrist band ,it was invented for farm machinery so that a farmer could go to any of his vehicles and they would start providing he wore the wrist band ,so I was thinking why not adapt it to a landrover and we would at least sleep at night knowing it could not be stolen by just driving it away ,and as for just hitching it onto something is another story .

Invented? the passive immobiliser has been around for years, even my 1997 disco has it.

I have the use of more modern car and as long as the card is in my pocket the door unlocks and the engine is remobilised.

Well that's what they said on the news I know there are others out there but this is a wrist band jobbie
