I have recently had a overhaul of my land rover defender 2.4 Puma. While a diagnostic tool indicates no fault, the fuel cannot get from the secondary pump to the common rail. I have been told that there is a problem with the immobiliser alarm that prevents the fuel to go up to the common rail.

How to I reset the car alarm remote so that I can get the fuel to go to the common rail and start the car

Battery flat in the remote?
Is there a fob relearn process? too new for me.
Battery is new. Remote works fine, however the glow plus sign and the two blinkers just under speed meter do not blink.

I need information on how to program the remote to allow fuel to come to the common rails. For now, the car alarm has cut off the fuel supply.

Don't take this the wrong way but a new member asking how to bypass the immobiliser is not the way to get a huge response from people here and will be viewed with caution and suspicion. Maybe a little more information about the vehicle and how the failure happened would help?

Similar to the above it is too new for me to have any knowledge.

I drove the vehicle for a number of years while it was leaking oil from its crankshaft seals. I had a mechanic strip down the engine and rebuild it with new engine parts. I'm now trying to start the engine but the immobiliser has cut fuel to the common rail. That is the issues I have. My land rover is a second hand car I bought from a hire car company when it was totalled. I am unable to get the previous owner to give me that information as that company no longer exists. I am stuck with the that problem. I did not steal this car. I am in Papua New Guinea with the vehicle.
