Despite new Fob from RemoteKey (great service btw) the immobiliser has decided to permanently immobilise my 90 - occasional clunk from starter motor but usually nada.

So next step is remove the black box from the battery and get soldering, not that I have much hope of this being a solution - one less factor.

Currently a sorry looking piece of installation art on the drive.

Needs to be fixed so it can drive off for its new 1/2 chassis at end of Month - otherwise breaking for parts comes to mind…..

Sodding thing

Well, dismantled the black box, from its hiding place, reflowed the solder on Two discoloured joints, reassembled and after a clunk, a crank no fire, a reset, Bingo! The mobile parts bin is alive! Now just to encourage the fuel and temp gauge plus indicators to join the party - having legged it while I was looking the other way…..
