I'm new

Hello, I am new to forums and land rover ownership so please be gentle. I live half way up the Rhondda Valley and have just bought a p38 2.5 DSE (with fsh, new air suspension compressor and valve block, and everything electrical working) on having new tyres fitted last Friday I noticed the nsf wheel bearing has slight wear. HOW THE HELL DO YOU CHANGE IT? If anyone can help, cheers. I'm Ian by the way...

Ian, don't worry.

The wheel bearings are usually quite straight forward. My 10 year old does mine most of the time - follow the destruction the haynes book of lies or look through Busters step by step photo guide. I think he has one for them!

Alternatively...look around on here.. lots have done them and found them to be a lot less scary than they seem!

one word of advice... go buy a land rover hub nut tool

I promise it will be the most valuable tool you buy during your landy ownership... don't be conned by assholes who say you can do it with a chisel

One of the most useful things you'll ever get for your LR is the official RAVE workshop manual. If you go to green-oval.com you can download a pdf copy for free.
