If I remove the key and then open the drivers door right after (i.e fairly fast) I still get the above warning message despite the fact the key has been removed.
If I wait for a few seconds before opening the door I do not receive it.

Does anybody know if this is the correct operation or if there is a delay that is adjustable? I believe it should not bring up the message as long as the key is removed even 1 sec before opening the door.

Many thanks in advance,

Panos

Many thanks, but could you clarify for me: When you say "spray lube in the barrel" do you mean at the key lock or key entry point or some other barrel? If elsewhere, where is it?
Many thanks,

Spray WD40 in where you put the key, follow it with the key and move the key in and out vigerously a few times. It's the switch at the bottom of the ignition lock assembly sticking.
