I know it's a horrible question, but...

I just bought my daughter a 1999 disco 2 for her first car. I believe it's willow green and has leaky sunroofs. Anyways it did not come with any manual or paperwork so I spend my time driving it staring at buttons that don't know what they do. There is a button to the right of the steering wheel that looks like a skateboard spanning two lines. I hve mo idea what this button does. Is it the cruise control? Where do I turn on the cruise control? Thank you guys. I love this car.

Yes the skateboard is cruise control.That is the master on/off switch.
