As the title says i have spent 3 hours looking up my problem so here goes, i have a series 3 swb with a late series 3 109 master cylinder and servo with the valve block on the chassis as well. has had brand new brake lines, wheel cylinders, flexi hoses and shoes, the shoes have all been adjusted, serval times it has been bleed on a mechanics version of easy bleed and had 2l of fluid pushed through with no air coming out.
so
when the engine isnt running the pedal is firm , but when you start the engine and press the pedal it goes spongey on the first press then is fine, then 5 mins later it will go soft again. any ideas is it the master cylinder or the servo or the servo pump ? any though would be appreciated as i have almost finished the rebuild and this is stoping me getting my mot ! thanks guys
