I Broke It!!

Was having a brilliant day out in wales, did Strata, Rhayader and some others
then half way down a lane recommended in an issue of LRM a few issues ago.

My water pump bearings gave up and the water pump shredded the Aux Belt, after being recovered by my fellow green laner and free wheeling down the lane to a car park. I foned the recovery truck and in the time it took him to get there we had 50% of it stripped down so i can get the parts monday morning and be back on the road!!

P.s I think i saw a couple of LZ'ers on Strata?? White 110, Blue Disco 1 and
two others??

Benny in the 110, mark in the blue disco, funky kipper in the black(ish) disco and me in the green 90.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, i have a bloody water pump and a spare aux belt in the back of my 90 as well! just changed mine and didnt take them out! :doh:

After we passed you guys we did nant-y-moch and then lost 4 hours on a hill side rescuing some PRICK from a bog on a bridleway. Anyway enough about that, the pictures of said **** and incident will be on here shortly.

yeah I had probes aswell took me a hell of a long time to get home

but got there in the end ,, now to fix it ,,, again ,,, good to see ya

hey did ya see all da mess from where dicks have cut up makin new tracks again

why the **** ,,, do they not think ? There thinking of shutting it as coz them dicks ,, rant over lol

BUGGER i did do a call out on most CB channels but i had little range cos i snapped my aerial early in the day :doh::doh:

But never mind was a good day and am all home safe and sound got the day off tuesday so ill get it back on the road!

Shame you spent so long rescuing a numpty from a Bridleway!!!

I was shocked at how many people felt it nesscary to go off-piste on Strata!! its such a good lane and people like that will just get it and others closed!!

Nice too see some off you hope you had a good day other than the one numpty!!

What was up with yours benny, i was pretty lucky only had to wait just over and hour for the recovery truck!!

and we managed to strip most of it down in that time so just need to get a new pump and bolt it on!!

Think it's the lift pump again it will run for prob 500yds then cut out and if I don't rev it much it will run abit longer ? Could it be the stop on the pump ? Well it was ok green laning just on the road it played up so it's tellin me something " STAY greenlaning "" don't hit the road lol i'll take a look at it Tuesday an hope to fix it ...
