Hydraulic pump for winch.

Hello!

I have been working on a 100 inch hybrid belonging to a friend of mine, weve just fitted a 200 tdi engine into it, which now means he can mount his hydraulic pump on the engine (where the air con pump usually sits).

our idea is to put an electro-clutch on it so we can engage/ disengage when needed. My friend has bought a pump (reference on receipt - plp204do) this just has a shaft coming out of it, does anyone know either a way of mounting the aircon clutch onto it or know of a clutch that will fit??? or failing that can you run the hydraulic oil through the air con pump??

NO you can run through aircon pump! Driving your pump needed to be the first thought before getting the pump as single belt drive is your limiting factor . You might get a few more replies if you put up some piccies of the pump. What are you intending to run with it etc, HTSH
