Have you tried tesco's direct I think that the postage is only £5 or click & collect next day.
Worth the wait. I bought two for my kids in September on release day and they laughed (spoiled brats) as it was from Tesco and they are Apple mad. After 5 mins I couldn't pry them away from them. The Hudl truly rocks and 2 months later they still love them. Keep trying!

There are better tablets on Ebay for less money.
Actually I beg to differ. I have tried many of the 'other' fleabay tablets and they are very poor in reality. May look good on paper. The Hudl is a fantastic bit of kit and 3 months into theirs my kids (15 and 12) still can't put them down. I was very sceptical as an Apple man but they are brilliant.
Cheap chinese tablets suffer from poor real world performance and software implementation.
IF I WAS BUYING CHEAP
I would chance the aldi tablet and any instability straight back or try a hudl.
I only have cheap tablets in the form of 1 nexus 7 first gen and bought 3 nexus 7 second generation recently

Been looking into them as a possible laptop replacement and the Hudl reviews are head and shoulders above anything else in the price range.....or even considerably above.
Only downside for me that I can see is I need to plug in a dongle so one usb port is limiting

Unless you want to spend nexus 7 2 money the tesco offering seems okay- laptop replacement is a bit stretched unless you had a craptop before

Anyone else experiencing trouble with the Hudl battery life? My 8yo spent her christmas money on one... and it was great (kept her quiet for hours on end..lol) but now, only 4 weeks on, it is losing charge very quickly. I feel a trip back to Tesco coming on, but just wondered if there were any others experiencing this?
