how wide are the wheels on my wagon?

howdy!
posted a thread the other day about getting hold of some 17" AT tyres.
anyway found some 235/65/17's which are wider than my current 225/55/17's. can anyone tell me if my 17" triplesport alloys will accept a 235 tyre before i take the plunge and spend some dosh.

could do, when i had my disco the alloys had the width stamped on them but the freeloader alloys have no markings that i can see

They should have wheel size somewhere on the wheel look on the inside of the spokes. The 17" should be 7" across from memory

You tyre depot should be able to tell you if they fit and should try them on your wheels.

Even my steelies have the size stamped on them 5 1/2J x 15H2 x 46

cheers, i'll take one off tomorrow and have a look on the inside of the rim. unless it decides to snow tonight in which case i will be out playing,but thats highly unlikely as i seem to live in the only f##ing town in kent which has not been snowed on!!!!!!!!!
