How to change a freelander headlight bulb

Sorry if this is a real numpty question - but need to change one of my headlight bulbs and can't see how to get access to the bulb without dropping the unit out? Can see the round bulb cover at the back but there is not enough clearance to remove it?

Am I going mad? Is it easier to undo the two bolts and drop the headlight unit out? Or do I just need someone with small hands and more patience than I?

Remove the rear cover - it is fiddly, but possible.

Ok - done it - fiddly but possilbe about summed it up. Clearly designed by a gynaecologist!

comes with practice, after a while, you'll be able to do it in the dark ('cos you never notice when they fail during the day)

No not by a gynae they never remove the watch
