How much paint do I buy?

Hi all, I'm hand painting the series 3 next week, any ideas on how much paint it'll take barring in mind it's a truck can and will have 2 good coats

Depends on paint as well, I used a litre of enamel to paint mine blue, sprayed straight over old paint (after sanding) and bare metal.

If you are hand painting, I suggest that you use a roller.

1 tin from paddocks brush and rollered on did my whole land rover exterior in one coat (excluding the roof and hardtop side panels which are a different colour)

2.5l of nato gave my 90 about 3 coats of paint with a brush.

I agree with oldseadog, do it with a roller if possible.
