I've always wondered how many factory v8 90's are still on the road
I had one about 14 years ago that ended up in the states
Now I've got another one, it's a complete basket case and ain't on the road
Anyone have any idea ?
Cheers

I've had two :) an '86(D) 90 CSW and a '89(G)110 CSW, both are apparently untaxed, MoT'd or SORN'd since 2008.
My current is a conversion not a factory job.

I had an E-registration V8 90 CSW in white. I sold it in 2002 and regretted it ever since. It been SORN’ed since 2014... :(

Track it down and buy it back...you know you want to
I would if I could. I’ve already got a 90 and a series 3, albeit that needs lots of work. And very little time due to work and family commitments. I’d be in the dog house if I got another! And it being off the road for some years means either someone else is doing the work or it needs even more after that time.

The guy who bought it from me lived in the Worcester area if I remember correctly...

For real? Mine is literally one of 7 (90 V8 County)?
Or were there lot's of Counties just registered as 90 Defender V8?

Yours isn't 1 of 7.
The DVLA Dataset used on this link (https://defender.lrworkshop.com/models) suggests 135 of the 90 V8 County variant were registered, of which 54 remain ‘on the road’ - as in currently having a valid MOT. Have a rummage, interesting stuff

The model naming/description is a minefield, usually delineated by Year of Registration….

Thanks to everyone that replied, there's loads of information for me to look at now, not really that many left on the road,
Probably all in garage's or storage waiting for someone to get them running
