im gonna make me own drop plate for the back of me landy and i have worked it out to get 17+1/2" to the top of the ball i need to make a 12" drop plate wich looks right to me but can anyone confirm or measure the length of their plate so i have a comparrison please ;);)

I just staggered outside, with me bad back, in the pizzin rain, in the dark, and measured mine for you :D, it's twelve and a half inches, and not homemade.....:D

i keep lookin at this 18" length of 6" wide channel iron i got made from 1/2" thick rolled steel hard as **** it is but at the length i got i only have one chance with it :cool::cool::cool:

now get yer feet up and have a nice hot brew to warm yerself through old chap ;);)
 
:D no probs. It runs from the very top edge of the cross member, there are three sets of holes, to move the hitch up and down. And it's black..And who are you calling OLD...............................

Mines the same....at least is was till I chopped off the bottom pair of holes.

Figured I'd rather have the hitch a little high than dragging a plough
