How do i get this bolt?????

as above have got one head off but i cant get the very last underside manifold bolt out have spent a fortune on sockets/extensions/adapters and nothing will get in to this from top or underneath as well as ring spanner any ideas??

lang handle ratchet and short extension,

try harder, you need to get a ring spanner on it, one with the loads of faces on it not just 6.

thats how i got mine off anyway, i havnt put it back in yet cos i lost it and keep meaning to buy a new set!!!

got that here cant get a turn on it theres no room in there

can get a ring spanner 12 point on it and turn it the inch that you get till it hits the chassis but its not far enough to catch the next bite??

It went in there so its gotta come out, keep tryin

nope, i thort it was the rattle inside the exhaust!! but it wasnt!!

i suppose ill just keep trying thought you guys maybe had a trick up yer sleeve

Split the downpipes, leave manifold on head.

right im gonna cut a 12m 12 point ring spanner in half that should give me more movement see if that helps but thats the rain coing down now typical aarrrggghhhh

Halfords do a set of ratcheting C-Spanners, invaluable for starter motors and not too expensive, cant remember if they are 6 or 12 point though.
Britool used to do a stepless ratchet that got a grip no matter how small the movement. Lost my one and haven't seen them in a few years. I replaced it with a new type 1/2" ratchet from Facom that you can spin the handle so its effectively a zero movement ratchet, it allows you to take up all the ratchet slack to get it moving using it conventionally, bit pricey though. HTH

got it off no probs with a small ring spanner grided in half lol new tool!!

We knew you'd do it

,put a hacksaw blade through the bolt head so you can use a flathead screw driver to put it back in,then just a pinch with the spanner

theres no room for a screw driver of any size have you seen the picture where its at lol!!
