hot rear hub?

well the title says it all really.. i was just fitting some new hub caps and when i touched the driver side rear hub it was really hot! what do you think it would be?

Overheating hub probably, but I will wait for Slob and Yella to give their opinions.

The usual cure is a whole lot of yellow grease .....

cud be wheel bearing done up too tight or brakes binding.
